Eesaavasyopanishad

In Eesaavasyopanishad, you can read the most wonderful message of two types of knowledge, the experienceable, eternal spiritual knowledge vidya and experimentable, external, scientific knowledge = avidya.

The Rishi advises us to use both in our day to day life for overcoming
the problems and for attaining a stabilized mind. Blind worship
and blind faith in science are rejected with strong words, here. It
has been declared that there are two types of ' materials' also one
which can be created and destroyed and the other one which can neither be created nor be destroyed as it is told in Physics.

Energy/matter can neither be created nor be destroyed....The description of divinity and cosmic power/energy in this Upanishad stands as a marvelous proof of the thinking capacity of our forefathers.

The word 'discover ' has come from this Upanishad as " hiranmayena patrena satyasyaapihitam mukham thath thwam pooshan apavrunu satya dharmaaya drushrshataye:" the truth/fact/and essence of everything is covered with a golden lid/cover. For understanding the truth/fact/essence you have to remove the cover=dis -cover (apaavrunu) ! satya dharmaaya drushtaye means for
understanding the truth and practice. It is described here that once the cover is removed then you see the most glorious and shining absolute truth on which the universe is created ( thejo yath thay roopam kalyaana thamam thath ..one can see that, only if he is capable of dis-covering that, he will be in a position to understand that absolute truth – says Maharshi Yajnavalkhya who wrote this Upanishad (including
Yajurveda).

The last two lines are so significant and chanted in cremation
ground as the final prayer after the departure of the soul from the body
takes place.and the last mantra is a prayer to agni/ fire to take the
soul and body to the most glorious world. Every son/daughter is
expected to chant this mantra when his/her parents' body is
cremated!. .... I wish everyone will read this Upanishad and understand the meaning + message which ( I repeat) is wonderful because it could shake even Albert Einstein, C.V. Raman, Fritjof Capra and included in many Indian and English movies of the 21st century.
